Richard Collinson. Journal of H.M.S. Enterprise on the Expedition in search of Sir John Franklin’s Ships by Behring Strait, 1850-55. London, 1889.

The Enterprise and the Investigator, under Collinson’s command, left England in 1850 to search eastward from Bering Strait for Franklin and his crew. The Enterprise, which was delayed and separated from the Investigator, explored Banks Island and the south shore of Victoria Island to its south-east extremity opposite King William Island. It returned to England safely through Bering Strait.
