Northern Railway Offices in 1860s

This brick building, built in 1864 as the office of the Northern Railway, was located at the foot of Spadina Avenue and Front Street. It was vacated in 1889 after the railway amalgamated with the Grand Trunk Railway. The building was later used as a railway YMCA.
