Canada's Great Industrial Fair, 1894
Broadside, printed by Toronto Lithographs Co.
Toronto Public Library, TRL, Broadsides and Printed Ephemera, 1894. Industrial Fair.
From 1879, an annual Exhibition at Toronto replaced earlier, moving provincial fairs. The Crystal Palace was its key building, but by 1894 more structures had been added, as portrayed in the top and bottom panels. The medallions illustrate major attractions and also show that both technology and industry were celebrated.
